    "Kita Shijo" is a restaurant located in Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, and it is a 9-minute walk from Gojo Station.
     The interior of the restaurant has 7 counter seats, creating a calm atmosphere.
    This restaurant offers a specialty dish called "Tenmushi" during lunch hours.
     Tenmushi was originally a treat that the owner used to gift to Maiko and Geiko (apprentice geishas and geishas) while he was training at a Kaiseki restaurant in Gion.
     The taste is incredibly gentle, highlighting the quality of the ingredients, and it has received great praise for its deliciousness.
    During evening hours, the restaurant serves Kaiseki cuisine, with a variety of dishes such as "Ebi" (shrimp), "Sake" (salmon), "Shiitake" (mushroom), and "Hotaruika" (firefly squid).
     The dashimaki tamago (rolled omelette) is particularly exquisite, and other dishes also showcase the chef's dedication to using high-quality ingredients and precise cooking techniques.
    While it does require a short walk from Gojo Station to visit "Kita Shijo," it is definitely worth it.
     We highly recommend visiting the restaurant to indulge in the Tenmushi and Kaiseki cuisine.
