    Overview

Nakai Sake Brewery is located in Iga City, Mie Prefecture, approximately 320 meters from Nishi-Ote Station.
Founded in 1897 (Meiji 30), it has a long history as a sake brewery.
With an annual production of only 80 koku, it offers a rare and unique sake.
There are no specific business hours, so it is advisable to check in advance before visiting.
The brewery's popular brand is "Mie Nishiki," which includes a diverse lineup of sake, particularly Junmai Ginjo and freshly pressed nama sake.
The six-year aged Junmai Ginjo is characterized by its subtle and gentle aroma.
This sake boasts an exquisite balance of light sweetness and acidity that does not betray its age, and its delicate impression remains even when served warm.
Moreover, the price of 2,500 yen for a 1.8-liter bottle adds to its appeal.
Additionally, freshly pressed sake is also available, allowing you to enjoy its slight fizz and unfiltered state.
The moment you uncork it, you may experience a pop, adding an element of excitement right from the start.
This sake also makes a delightful souvenir.
Customers receive not only high-quality sake but also personalized suggestions for how to enjoy it according to individual preferences.
Special limited edition sakes are also available, providing new discoveries with each visit.
Given this background, Nakai Sake Brewery offers a precious experience that allows visitors to connect not only with the sake itself but also with Japanese culture and regional traditions.
Why not visit and find your own favorite cup?
