    Overview

Hagino Shuzo is located in Kurihara City, Miyagi Prefecture, just 323 meters from Akiue Station.
This sake brewery is an attractive spot for local residents and sake enthusiasts alike.
Since there are no set business hours, it is recommended to check in advance before visiting.
The brewery does not have seating available, so the style is primarily focused on takeout or enjoying at home.
Every year on July 7th, this brewery releases a limited sake called "DATESEVEN".
This sake is inspired by the unit "Miyagi→Date Clan," which consists of seven breweries in Miyagi Prefecture, hence the name "Seven".
The 2023 edition of Hagino Shuzo’s version has garnered special attention.
It features a refreshingly dry yet fruity taste that many customers highly appreciate.
Chefs use carefully selected ingredients from across Japan, bringing their skills and passion to the sake-making process.
In particular, the brewing methods highlight the rice and water unique to this region.
Furthermore, Hagino Shuzo introduces various limited-edition products as seasonal experiments, allowing customers to enjoy different flavors and aromas.
As a result, many customers tend to purchase their favorites along with snacks to enjoy at home.
In addition to the DATESEVEN series, there are a variety of other sake options available, making it ideal for casual souvenirs.
We invite you to visit and experience this wonderful aspect of Japanese culture.
A delightful encounter with the exquisite sake unique to Hagino Shuzo awaits you.
