    Overview

Kazuma Sake Brewery is located in Noto Town, in the Hosu District of Ishikawa Prefecture, and produces sake utilizing local specialties.
Founded in the second year of the Meiji era, this long-established brewery continues to focus on brewing only with rice grown in Noto, spearheaded by the fifth-generation current owner.
They are also taking on new challenges, such as restoring abandoned farmland, reviving rice fields that cover an area equivalent to six Tokyo Domes.
The store operates from Monday to Friday, open from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and on weekends from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
However, it is closed on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, so it's important to keep that in mind.
While specific transportation options are not provided, the surrounding area is rich in natural scenery, making it possible to enjoy the landscape alongside their sake.
Kazuma Sake Brewery focuses on pairing their sake, known as "Takeba," with food.
For example, their Junmai Ginjo Namachozo pairs perfectly with seafood dishes like oysters and squid, and they also offer a Junmai sake specially made for Noto beef, showcasing a diverse range of options.
Additionally, they have developed many original brands, each allowing you to enjoy unique flavors.
While tastings are available in the shop, those driving may not be able to participate, making prior confirmation a good idea.
The shop features a beautifully designed space that also offers opportunities to learn about Japanese culture and traditional production methods.
Guided tours by the toji (master brewer) allow visitors to view the koji room and bottling process, deepening their understanding of this captivating process.
Kazuma Sake Brewery is more than just a store; it is a place where you can experience Japanese culture itself.
Why not visit once? The encounter with their unique sake may become your new favorite.
