Aoki Shuzo is a long-established sake brewery located in Minami-Uonuma City, Niigata Prefecture, with a history dating back to 1717.
 It is conveniently situated just 310 meters from Shiozawa Station.
 The brewery operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with Wednesdays being a day off.
 The shop does not have seating, and visitors primarily come to purchase products.
At Aoki Shuzo, the flagship sake brand "Kakurei" is prominently featured, alongside a diverse lineup that includes junmai ginjo and junmai daiginjo.
 "Kakurei" is well-regarded for its smooth texture, allowing drinkers to experience the umami and sweetness of the rice, presenting a refined and clean flavor profile.
 Additionally, the brand "Yukio" is also popular, especially among those who appreciate a drier sake.
The brewery also produces umeshu (plum wine).
 Using carefully selected plums that have thin skins and are handled delicately, this umeshu offers a refined flavor as the essence of the plums is fully extracted.
 It is said to be enjoyable either on the rocks or at room temperature straight.

 The exterior of the building resembles a traditional Edo-period antique shop, and the unique design of the product displays adds to its charm.
 Unique items such as "Yukio" merchandise are also sold, making great souvenirs for those who visit.
