Komatsu Shuzojo is a sake brewery located in Usa City, Oita Prefecture, approximately 947 meters from Buzenchonhashu Station.
 The surrounding area features a maze of narrow streets, dotted with breweries and soy sauce and miso manufacturing facilities.
 This region is known as "Sake Brewery Street," and Komatsu Shuzojo occupies a corner of it.
 Although it temporarily ceased operations in Showa 63 (1988), it has recently made a comeback, venturing into new sake production.
At this brewery, they offer special junmai sake "Hojun Oligarami" and junmai ginjo "Oita Mitsui Hojun," each with its own unique appeal.
 "Hojun Oligarami" is made from 100% Gino-to rice produced in Usa City, with an alcohol content of 16% and a rice polishing ratio of 60%.
 When lightly shaken and poured, it presents a pale white color, and its acidity is incredibly refreshing.
 The sweetness is restrained, making it easy to drink, with the delightful aroma of rice elevating each sip.
 This sake can be enjoyed on its own, earning high praise from many customers.
On the other hand, "Oita Mitsui Hojun Junmai Ginjo" is made from 100% Oita Mitsui rice, with a polishing ratio of 50% and an alcohol content of 15%.
 This sake is dry yet leaves a gentle aftertaste.
 While its fragrance is subtle, there is a sparkling sensation on the palate.
 Therefore, this sake pairs exceptionally well with white fish.
 Additionally, this product has the interesting background of using the long-lost food rice "Oita Mitsui," which had disappeared since the 1960s.
Komatsu Shuzojo prides itself on creating distinctive sake that is loved not only by Japanese customers but also by people from various countries, including France.
