    Shintani Shuzo is a small sake brewery located in the Tokuchi area of Yamaguchi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, founded in 1927.
     This brewery is run by a couple and two toji (master brewers), and is said to be the smallest brewery in Japan.
     Shintani Shuzo's unique brewing methods and attention to detail have produced sake that is highly acclaimed.
     In particular, in 2018, their "Wakamusume Tsukikusa" won the Platinum Award at the Brussels International Competition, and their Junmai Daiginjo "Wakakamusume Kachōka" received recognition at the National New Sake Appraisal, proving their prowess in the sake industry.
